The much-awaited Salman Khan starrer Sikandar trailer has finally been released. Fans were expecting a punchy trailer, and I think they got one.

This is a somewhat generic trailer packed with action and mass appeal showcasing Salman’s character, Sanjay, as a larger-than-life protagonist.

There are also a few emotional moments that could hint at Siknadar’s main motivation for fighting against evil. It might also have something to do with Rashmika’s character, Saisri, who plays Salman’s wife in the film.

The trailer is well-edited revealing only a few things about Sikandar. The main antagonist is played by Sathyaraj aka Kattapa gets limited screen time in the trailer.

I hope that the rivalry is not just limited to just these two. It will make the plot very predictable. There should be at least one dark character in the movie as a surprise factor.

We can also see Prateik Babbar, Sharman Joshi, Kajal Aggarwal, and Nawab Shah in some scenes but nothing much was given about their characters.

The best moment in Skinadar‘s trailer is when Rashmika sings Lag Jaa Gale followed by a sharp transition into brutal action sequences where Salman is seen taking down goons. It feels like something tragic happens, triggering his revenge.

The background score by Santhosh Narayanan is also the highlight of the trailer. The catchy music elevates Salman’s presence and hopefully, we will get to see more of it in the film.

So, almost everything in the trailer is good except the dialogues. Punch lines are really lazy and more efforts should have been put to justify Salman Khan’s stardom.

I am also expecting the story to be more layered than what they showed us in the trailer. People these days are consuming way more content than they used to be. Simple stories with average action worked in the past. Now, you have to give an adrenaline rush to the audience to get them into the theaters.
